Experienced Window Cleaning Technician
Shine Window Cleaning & Pressure Washing is looking for an experienced window cleaner to join our team in Southwest Florida.
This is a window-cleaning-only position. The technician will primarily work alongside one of our veteran team members on residential and commercial properties. We are looking for someone who understands professional window cleaning and can contribute immediately while learning Shine’s systems and service standards.
The ability to independently run a company truck and manage a route is a major plus, but it is not required on day one.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial window cleaning
- Clean interior and exterior glass, screens, tracks, sliders, and doors
- Use traditional window-cleaning tools and water-fed pole systems
- Work alongside an experienced Shine technician
- Safely use ladders and work at heights
- Assist with loading, inspecting, and organizing the company vehicle
- Review work orders and understand the scope of each job
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
- Identify hard water, oxidation, paint, adhesive, damaged glass, and other conditions outside standard cleaning
- Complete a final inspection and maintain Shine’s quality standards
- Protect customers’ homes, furnishings, landscaping, and property while working
- Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicles clean, stocked, and organized
Qualifications
- Professional window-cleaning experience is strongly preferred
- Comfortable cleaning residential and commercial properties
- Able to produce clean, streak-free results efficiently
- Experience with water-fed pole systems is preferred
- Comfortable using ladders and working at heights
- Lift experience is a plus
- Ability to run a truck and manage jobs independently is a major plus
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Physically able to lift equipment and work outdoors in the Florida heat
- Neat and professional appearance
Schedule
Our busiest season is October through March. During this period, team members may work approximately 50–60 hours per week and receive overtime pay at 1.5 times their regular rate. Saturday availability is required from October through December.
Hours may be reduced during the slower summer season.
