Job Title: Shine Business Development and Operations Manager 

Job Summary 
Reporting to the CEO/Owner, this role is a critical leader in the success of our business. You’ll lead teams of Shine crew leaders and technicians each day working to ensure excellent quality, customer service, safety and timeliness of your teams. You’ll also work with customers to engage them in the opportunity for our business, work to set up appointments, and schedule your teams to perform our service at the customer’s house or business. You’ll have the flexibility to perform your role behind a desk and out in the community.

We're looking for an Operations Manager who is driven, detail-oriented, and ready to lead our teams to success.

Job Overview:
We’re seeking a dedicated and professional Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, manage crews, and ensure quality service. The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and able to effectively manage teams, maintain service standards, and provide accurate project bids to clients. Knowledge in window cleaning, pressure washing, house and roof washes, and holiday light installation is preferred, but a strong capacity to learn and adapt is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crew Management: Lead and manage crew members, ensuring efficient scheduling, task delegation, and overall performance.
  • Morning Meetings: Conduct daily morning meetings with crews, ensuring everyone understands their tasks and has all necessary equipment and supplies for their jobs that day.
  • Job Scheduling: Oversee and manage job scheduling to ensure timely service delivery and optimal crew deployment.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee job quality to meet company standards, addressing any issues proactively to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relations: Meet with clients to understand their needs, provide service estimates, and ensure exceptional customer experiences from start to finish.
  • Bidding and Estimation: Prepare and present accurate bids for window cleaning, pressure washing, house and roof washes, and holiday light installation projects.
  • Inventory and Supplies Management: Ensure all necessary supplies and tools are stocked and ready for each job, coordinating with suppliers as needed. 
  • Warehouse and Office Management: Keep a clean and organized warehouse and office space to ensure efficiency and a professional working environment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring all crew members follow safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Training and Development: Mentor and train crew members, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Operations Oversight: Ensure all aspects of job completion align with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a management role, with knowledge of window cleaning, pressure washing, house and roof washing, and holiday light installation preferred. Candidates with strong learning abilities who can quickly adapt are also encouraged to apply.
  • Professionalism: Must be reliable, respectful, and professional in all interactions with clients and team members.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills to effectively manage, motivate, and support crews.
  • Responsibility: A proactive and responsible approach to job duties, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
